Meeting Information: Meetings are held the first Friday of every month at 10:00 at the Howson Branch Library - 2500 Exposition Blvd. Click here to view a map. We welcome all parents, children, and other interested friends or family members. Although our meeting room is in a library, snacks are permitted. Business transactions of any kind are not permitted. At each meeting: We will focus on helping members with current concerns about Attachment Parenting through brainstorming and sharing experiences. We will discuss a specific topic related to AP (for example, one of the eight ideals or a relevant book). We will try to be flexible and cater to the needs of our members. Members may check out selections from our library of books and magazines, as well as from our sling library. Please: Keep sick children at home within the first couple of days of a respiratory illness or within 24 hours after the cessation of diarrhea, vomiting or fever. Refer to the API brochure concerning group guidelines (keeping personal information confidential, freely attending to the needs of your children during meetings, and avoiding topics of interest not directly related to AP). Suggest topics or ideas for other group activities such as field trips, speakers, and family events. Consider volunteering for a group job, such as librarian, publicist, or snack coordinator.
