February 5: Positive Discipline, Part I:  SAY WHAT YOU SEE: START HERE!  Become the parent you always wanted to be in one simple step. No kidding! Join Sandy Blackard and Eva Sim-Zabka of Language of Listening to explore how saying what you see instead of what you think can change your most challenging moments with children into rewarding ones.

March 5:  Positive Discipline, Part II:  Parenting Coach Bethany Prescott returns to our group this year to give us her fresh perspective on gentle discipline, with a special emphasis on playful parenting.  This meeting is not-to-be-missed!

May 7:  Overcoming Parental Guilt:  Eva Sim-Zabka of Language of Listening will talk about how to overcome guilty feelings when our best parenting efforts go awry.  This meeting promises to be a good follow-up to our discipline series.

June 4:  Potluck Picnic at Pease Park!  Please join us from 10 am to noon for a potluck picnic at the south end of Pease Park (where the tables are, near the playscape)... we will supply the basics (napkins, plates, etc.) while you bring a dish to share and your kiddo(s), of course.  The pool at Pease has been converted to a splash pad, so bring a suit and towel (and sunscreen if you use it) if you think your babes will want to cool off in the water.  See you there!
